Wicklow is one of my favourite places in all of Ireland, with it just being a short drive from Dublin it truly is the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are looking to really immerse yourself in nature and spend a few days in the Garden of Ireland then look no further as I have created this guide of 19+ incredible places to go Glamping in Wicklow.
1. River Valley Holiday Park
Ever dreamed of staying in a treehouse? Well, in this Wicklow Glamping spot, you can!
The River Valley Park over a range of glamping options, from Treehouses, Kukoo Huts, Micro Lodges and Maxi Lodges.
The River Valley Park is the location for those looking to get lost in the stunning Wicklow countryside. There are plenty of nearby amenities, such as horse riding, golf courses, and scenic walks.
The treehouses can take up to four guests and are equipped with a kitchenette, a seating area, and an outdoor decking area. Perfect for a relaxing stay!

2. Hilltop Treehouse
Looking for a unique stay while visiting Wicklow? Then look no further than. the Hilltop Tree House. This unusual accommodation offers a camping-style environment with stunning views. Elevated 12 feet above the ground, this tree house is designed for two people sharing and is powered by off-grid solar power, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy luxury while also being close to nature.

It is the perfect Glamping spot for those looking to take part in some iconic Wicklow hikes, such as the Spinc trail in Glendalough.
The caravans can accommodate up to four people which makes them the perfect rental for families or groups of friends. And when it comes to amenities, you won’t be disappointed. Each caravan comes equipped with comfortable beds, a kitchenette, and a private outdoor seating area.
Rates start from €100 per night, which is rather affordable compared to other glamping options in Wicklow.
4. Mongolian Yurt

5. The Cabin

6. Glamping Caravan, “BLUEBELL”
Escape the hustle and bustle of modern life with a unique romantic stay in our Glamping Caravan, “BLUEBELL”.
Located on a charming family farm with friendly horses and donkeys, and breathtaking views of the Wicklow Mountains. The colourful caravan is the perfect getaway for couples or families as it sleeps 4.
Although it is small in size, it is well-equipped with all the essentials for cooking, dining, and sleeping, including a gas cooker, cutlery, crockery, and gas lighting.
Guests also have access to shared shower and toilet facilities, a picnic table, and a campfire area. Perfect for some smores and a sing-along.
It is the perfect spot for a digital detox, as there is no electricity supply in the caravan. It is, however, possible to charge your phone and camera in the farmyard. Be sure to pack a torch and sturdy footwear for exploring the farm.
7. Tipi Camping @ ‘Tipi Adventure’
If you’re looking for a unique and peaceful escape in nature, then check out Tipi Camping at our beautiful wilderness site ‘Tipi Adventure’ near Laragh, Co. Wicklow.
This privately owned woodland offers an uninterrupted nature experience away from the hustle and bustle of our busy world. The area’s natural beauty is striking, and you’ll immediately feel a sense of peace as soon as you step foot on the grounds.

On clear days, you can enjoy the outdoor fireplace or simply relax in the tranquil surroundings. And for those who want to venture out, the National Garden Exhibition Centre is just a short drive away.

12. Glendalough Glamping
Glendalough is one of the most beautiful places to go for a walk in Wicklow. Home to stunning valleys, a historic monastery and wonderful trails. If you looking to go glamping in the area then the Glendalough Glamping is the perfect spot for you!
It is only open to adults so it is the perfect getaway for couples or small groups of friends. The campground offers stunning mountain views. The units are equipped with outdoor furniture and modern amenities such as a dishwasher, oven, and toaster. Bed linen and towels are also provided, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
On hot summer days, you can enjoy the barbecue facilities, or simply relax in the garden or picnic area after your hiking adventures.
13. An Capall The HorseBox Glamping
If you are looking for another incredible glamping spot near Glendalough then look no further than An Capall (The Horsebox in Irish). The location makes it the perfect spot to stay for those looking to hike in Wicklow National Park and it includes amazing views of Glenmacnass Valley.
There is private access to a river beach, firepit, and BBQ. The vintage Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been beautifully converted to provide luxurious accommodation for guests with a king-sized bed and single bunk.
The restoration of An Capall is a labour of love, with original and vintage furnishings creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The shower room is fully equipped, and there is a wood-burning stove and electric cooker for cooking.
Mobile coverage is limited in the area but guests have access to Wi-Fi. There is also a range of Restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops in the nearby village of Laragh.
14. Hidden Valley Holiday Park
Hidden Valley Resort offers a great location for those looking to spend time in the Irish countryside and explore the surrounding areas of Wicklow. It has a great range of things to do for families to enjoy such as adventure mini-golf and boating.
They have 4 lodges onsite, some of which can sleep up to 6 people. It is the perfect alternative to camping. Although there’s no kitchen in the lodge, there is a toilet and sink in the Ensuite Loft House, and showers, toilets, and laundry facilities are just a few feet away.
Hidden Valley Resort is a family-run park, and it’s important to note that they do not cater to adult or teen groups, hens/stags, or those who are looking to stay up late past their strict family curfew.
15. Woodland Hideaway
If you’re looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway, Woodland Hideaway in West Wicklow is the perfect retreat. It is surrounded by lush greenery that overlooks a picturesque pond where you can spot a variety of wildlife such as ducks, squirrels, and deer.
In the summer months, guests can relax on the patio after a long day of hiking. Or, enjoy a peaceful dip in the hot tub. It is perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or for those who love hiking and exploring the outdoors.

16. Woodland Retreat
If you are looking to book somewhere with rustic chalet vibes then this Woodland Retreat may just be the perfect spot for you! The cabin is surrounded by beautiful woodland and situated at the foot of Carrig mountain, offering great hiking opportunities. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, and full-sized bed.
But the best part about this Glamping spot is the Jacuzzi on the lower deck, where you can soak in the bubbles and take in the stunning scenery. It is only 10 minutes away from Brittas Bay (one of my fav beaches in Wicklow).
17. Green Glen Cabin
The Green Glen cabin is the perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Wicklow’s countryside. The cosy cabin is surrounded by lush forests and stunning views.
One of the truly unique features of the cabins is their super large windows that allow you to take in the beautiful scenery during the day and admire the starry sky at night!
There is also a wood-burning stove that will keep you warm and toasty. This cabin is truly one-of-a-kind, and it boasts 2 full-sized double beds, perfect for couples or a group of friends. While you are there you can easily explore the nearby Glendalough, Avondale Forest Park and/or Sally Gaps.
After a long day of exploring, you can come back to the cabin and relax with soft lighting, candles, reading materials, and a warm fire.
18. Celtic Cottage
The Celtic Cottage is located on the hills of the Wicklow/Wexford border making it the perfect spot to stay if you are looking to explore nature opportunities in both counties.
This unique cabin is a great option for a relaxing getaway, complete with a private hot tub, mini bar, smart TV, and Wi-Fi.
You can dine al fresco on the private decking or kick back in the cosy open-plan space after a day exploring Ireland’s ancient east. The cottage comes equipped with a compact kitchenette, a large deck with a hot tub and BBQ, and sleeping accommodations for up to four guests.

21. Cosy Secluded Cabin
This cabin offers beautiful views of rolling hills and open skies through antique windows, providing the feeling of being in nature while still having a solid roof over your head. The covered verandah has a basic camp kitchenette for cooking, and there’s a comfortable double bed inside.
The cabin is powered by solar energy and has a private wc/shower room just a 30-meter stroll through the garden. The surrounding area offers beautiful walks in Avondale, as well as river and sea kayaking, trail biking, hiking, and rock climbing in the Wicklow Mountains.
Don’t forget to stock up on food in Rathdrum, where you’ll find great quality restaurants nearby. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, while still being close enough to explore the surrounding areas.
