Black Friday, you wouldnโ€™t think it, but it can actually save you a fair bit of money when it comes to planning your trip to Ireland. You just need to be a little smart about it. Iโ€™ve watched hotel prices soar often enough to know that if youโ€™re sitting there wondering whether you should just bite the bullet and book things nowโ€ฆ

Then… that's probably a good shout. Future you will thank yourself.

Whether youโ€™re sorting accommodation, grabbing some last-minute packing essentials or finally figuring out how youโ€™ll stay connected on the road, the savings add up FAST.

Iโ€™ve spent the last week digging through the chaos to pick out the deals that are actually worth your time, so you donโ€™t have to spend hours researching. You can just scroll, click and get on with your day. And I must admit, one of the best offers may or may not be a sneaky little bundle Iโ€™ve put together, featuring two of my most popular digital products.

But more about that later in the post…let's dive into some key saving points.

Save Big on Ireland Hotels This Week Only

If youโ€™re coming to Ireland next year, Black Friday is genuinely one of the best weeks to sort your accommodation. Hotels here donโ€™t really do random discounting. When they drop their prices, itโ€™s normally this week, and once the spring demand kicks in, the rates shoot straight back up again.

The trick is to be a little strategic. Decide where you want to base yourself, check the Black Friday rates on Expedia and Booking.com, and grab anything that looks decent with free cancellation. Thereโ€™s no need to overthink it. Lock in the bargain now, and you can shuffle your plans around later.

Here are two fantastic accommodation options in Dublin that are offering brilliant Black Friday discounts.

THE Grafton Street Studios

โญ๏ธ 8.6 rating | ๐Ÿจ Aparthotel | ๐Ÿ“ Grafton Street area | ๐Ÿ’ฐ Up to 40% off Black Friday Deal

If you want something central and great value, Grafton Street Studios has one of the strongest Black Friday offers Iโ€™ve seen this year.

Theyโ€™re offering up to 40% off, and the studios come with kitchenettes, air con, soundproofing and a location thatโ€™s genuinely unbeatable.

Youโ€™re a few minutes from Stephenโ€™s Green, Trinity, the Little Museum, the Book of Kells and half the things first-timers want to see. For anyone doing Dublin without a car, itโ€™s ideal.

The LeinsteR Hotel

โญ๏ธ 8.6 rating | ๐Ÿจ 5 Star Hotel | ๐Ÿ“ Merrion Square Area | ๐Ÿ’ฐ Up to 40% off Black Friday Deal

If you prefer something a bit more boutique and bougier, The Leinster also has a Black Friday deal running.

Itโ€™s one of the most beautifully designed hotels in the city, with Irish-made furnishings, a gorgeous rooftop restaurant and staff that people rave about.

Their rooms and studios are discounted by up to 30% right now, which is rare for a place that usually books out well in advance.

Itโ€™s a fabulous option if you want comfort and a treat without paying full Dublin-in-spring prices. Also, the food in the rooftop restaurant is INCREDIBLE! Need to visit again soon.

Grab My โ‚ฌ9.99 Black Friday Bundle While Itโ€™s Live

I am currently offering a Black Friday Exclusive, featuring my two top-selling guides under one bundle. Itโ€™s the cheapest theyโ€™ll be all year (offer valid until the 4th of December 2025). And honestly, if youโ€™re driving in Ireland or spending even just one day in Dublin, this bundle will save you more than the price of the guides in stress alone.

They address the two areas people worry the most about. Driving Irelandโ€™s unpredictable roads and navigating Dublin without feeling lost or overwhelmed. You get practical, no-nonsense advice that actually makes planning easier.

Save on Dublinโ€™s Top Attractions With the Explorer Pass

If youโ€™re planning on visiting even one or two of Dublinโ€™s major attractions, then Go Dublin Pass is genuinely one of the best-value Black Friday offers youโ€™ll find. They are currently offering up to 15% off both passes, ending on the 28th of November. This is the cheapest it gets all year.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Check the Go Dublin Pass Black Friday price here

What some people don't realise is that you don't have to activate the pass right away you have an entire year to use it! You can also ask for a full refund on non-activated passes up to 30 days from the date of purchase. So, thereโ€™s zero risk in grabbing it at its lowest price.

If Dublinโ€™s on your itinerary and youโ€™re planning to visit the big-ticket attractions, this Go Dublin Pass genuinely pays for itself, you just need to pick the right combination and youโ€™re laughing.

Save on Tours and Private Experiences Across Ireland

When it comes to saving on tours and attractions while in Ireland, the best Black Friday offer I have found so far is on Tripadvisor. Theyโ€™re giving 25 dollars off bookings over 200 dollars with the code BOOK25 (until the 30th of November), which can work out as brilliant value if you pick the right experience or want to make things a little bit more personal with private tour options.

Design your own Claddagh Ring Workshop in Dublin Ireland Laura Grace

One standout one is the Claddagh Ring Making Workshop in Dublin (my favourite experience in the city). You get to make your own ring with a local goldsmith, itโ€™s meaningful, hands on, and a gorgeous thing to bring home.

If you have Irish ancestry, there is a fantastic private tour of the EPIC Museum that comes in around $225 each, so knocking $25 off that is a lovely saving.

A FEW OTHER DUBLIN TOURS WORTH CONSIDERING:

And thatโ€™s only a small sample of whatโ€™s on offer this week. There are some brilliant savings to be had if youโ€™re planning Dublin into your trip.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Check out more Black Friday Offers on Tripadvisor

If youโ€™re heading out west, Black Friday is a brilliant time to grab the more unique experiences that most visitors never even hear about.

One of the standouts is the private landing tour to the deserted island of Inishlacken. Prices start from around โ‚ฌ230 per group, and itโ€™s one of those โ€œonce in a lifetimeโ€ stories youโ€™ll be glad you booked.

A FEW OTHER WEST OF IRELAND TOURS WORTH CONSIDERING:

โ€ข Hike Connemara with a local guide, wild scenery, quiet trails and the kind of perspectives youโ€™ll never get on a big bus tour.
โ€ข Enjoy a private photography session along the Wild Atlantic Way, a gorgeous way to bring home memories that arenโ€™t just windswept phone selfies.
โ€ข Take a private walking tour in Galway with a local guide, one of the nicest ways to get under the skin of the city.

These are the types of tours where the TripAdvisor BOOK25 code really pays off, because youโ€™re getting premium, personalised experiences for noticeably less.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Check out more Black Friday offers on Tripadvisor

I did some digging and found the Black Friday pages for both the GetYourGuide deals page and Viator deals page. These will show you any tours currently discounted for Ireland, and you can quickly scroll through to see what fits your itinerary. Both platforms quietly add and remove offers throughout the week, so itโ€™s worth checking back a few times as the sales roll on.

Car Rental Deals You Should Lock In Now

Renting a car in Ireland can be a headache, especially with limited automatics, odd-sized cars and deposits that make zero sense. But if you want to see the real Ireland, driving is still one of the best ways to do it.

Black Friday makes the whole thing far easier. Prices jump massively in spring and summer, so grabbing a deal now saves you a fair bit of stress later.

The quickest way to spot whoโ€™s actually giving you value is to use a comparison tool like Discover Cars. Theyโ€™re running up to 70% off selected rentals, and you can see every provider side by side without digging through ten tabs.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Compare car rentals on Discover Cars here

The small print matters more than people think. Damage cover, waivers, mileage limits and hidden fees can turn a โ€œgreat dealโ€ into a mess very quickly. Discover Cars lays everything out clearly so you know exactly what youโ€™re paying for before you get to the counter. You can also filter for automatics, which is a lifesaver if youโ€™re not up for tackling a left-hand manual.

If you already know your dates, itโ€™s worth checking now while the Black Friday offers are live. Even a quick browse will give you a sense of the price jump youโ€™ll avoid next year.

Packing for Ireland is one of those things people get wrong, and I don't blame them…the Irish weather is temperamental.

I see the same mistakes over and over, usually from people who underestimate two things: the rain and the walking.

Below is a quick hit list of what to pack (and what to absolutely leave at home) with a few Black Friday deals sprinkled in.

โœ”๏ธ A universal travel adapter (not a random European one)

Ireland uses Type G plugs, not the European ones, so people arrive with the wrong adapter constantly. A universal adapter, like this one, is the safest bet and you can use it on every future trip too.

โœ”๏ธ A foldable, ultra-lightweight bag

Having a lightweight foldable bag, like this one, is perfect for day trips, overflow shopping, or when your main luggage is bursting at the seams by the end of your trip. Folds into nothing, weighs nothing, always worth grabbing during sales.

โœ”๏ธ Waterproof rain bottoms

No one likes the look of waterproof trousers, they're not cute, but essential. If you're doing Cliffs of Moher, Howth, Connemara, or honestly anywhere, rain trousers will save your trip. Theyโ€™re the difference between โ€œan enjoyable day outโ€ and โ€œmy jeans hate meโ€.

โœ”๏ธ A proper waterproof jacket

Please donโ€™t bring a fashion coat and hope for the best. You need a jacket that actually keeps rain out, not one that claims to be โ€œshowerproofโ€ in the reviews. It doesn't need to be a branded coat by any means, a jacket like this one does the trick but reading the reviews to ensure that it is, in fact, waterproof is essential!

โœ”๏ธ Comfortable shoes (or waterproofing for the ones you love)

You will walk far more than you expect here. Bring waterproof hiking boots (I LOVE my Keen ones) or buy waterproofing wax for your favourite leather shoes so youโ€™re not sloshing around out west with cold, wet toes.

โœ”๏ธ A lightweight changing poncho (if youโ€™re brave enough)

Irish people casually get changed on the beach like itโ€™s nothing, so if you're brave enough to join the sea swimmers (which I think everyone should experience at least once on their trip), then a changing robe or micro fibre towel will give you a little bit of privacy and act as a shield from the Irish wind.

Save on eSIMs and stay connected

Staying connected in Ireland shouldnโ€™t cost you half your holiday budget, but roaming charges catch people out every year. Most visitors coming from the US, Canada and Australia donโ€™t get free roaming here, so itโ€™s worth sorting this out early.

Black Friday is the best time to do it, because eSIMs are even cheaper than usual. And honestly, who wants to pay 12 dollars a day for roaming? Yes, thatโ€™s what some carriers charge.

My personal pick is Airalo. You can set it up before you fly, it activates the moment you land, and you get a discount either way.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Check out Airaloโ€™s Black Friday offers here

โ€ข New users get 15% off with the code NOVEMBER15
โ€ข And our readers get 10% off with the code IRELAND10, which can be used by existing customers too.

I see this come up constantly in my Facebook community. People stick with roaming out of fear theyโ€™ll โ€œbreakโ€ their phone with an eSIM. But, your phone will work exactly the same, youโ€™re just using a local data plan instead of roaming.

Itโ€™s genuinely simple. No swapping SIM cards, no tools, no stress. Just the app and a QR code to activate.

And you wonโ€™t be turning your data on and off every five minutes trying to stay within limits. A 10 GB plan for 15 days costs โ‚ฌ16.50. Thatโ€™s a day and a half of roaming with certain US networks. Itโ€™s a no-brainer, really.

And, please, If you take anything from this, make sure you get the correct plan. If youโ€™re only visiting the Republic, then this plan will work fine, but if you're also visiting Northern Ireland, then you will need to opt into this plan to cover both.

Oh, and donโ€™t get caught out. Coverage dips happen, but thatโ€™s more Ireland being Ireland than any network issue. Itโ€™s always a good idea to download your maps offline so you donโ€™t end up on a โ€œtwo-wayโ€ road that feels very much like a one-way.

MULTIDAY TOURS

If youโ€™ve been toying with the idea of a group tour, Black Friday is hands-down the best week of the year to book one. Some companies are taking โ‚ฌ500โ€“โ‚ฌ800 off their Ireland itineraries right now. For anyone sitting on the fence about finally planning that dream trip, discounts like that are usually the push people need.

The biggest standouts this year are Rabbieโ€™s, TourRadar, Trafalgar and Go Ahead Tours. They all take slightly different approaches.

Most of the Black Friday deals are running for a very short window, and the discounts are automatically applied, but the headline offers are strong:

โ€ข Rabbieโ€™s: 10โ€“20% off selected tours with codes (ending 9 Dec)
โ€ข TourRadar: Up to 70% off selected Ireland itineraries
โ€ข Trafalgar: Up to 30% off 2025 departures
โ€ข Go Ahead Tours: Black Friday + Cyber Week sales running 29 Novโ€“6 Dec

If youโ€™ve ever looked at a multi-day tour and thought โ€œmaybe next yearโ€, this is the one time of year where that โ€œmaybeโ€ becomes a smart yes. Itโ€™s also perfect for travellers who donโ€™t want to drive, donโ€™t want to stress about planning a route, or just want to hand the reins to someone else and enjoy the scenery.

Iโ€™ll have a full blog post breaking down the best multi-day tour deals shortly, but for now, these are the four companies worth checking during the sales window.
